Rhythm & Bloom | Modern Wellness through Ancient Wisdom - Mohala Healing & Wellness Blog

New Ravenna Healing Studio & Community Collaboration with Singing Tree Art Studio

As the sun reaches its peak this week, and the Earth bathes in the full illumination of the summer solstice, it feels like a perfect moment to break a long silence and share a profound evolution in the journey of my practice, Mohala Healing & Wellness.

It has been a year since I last updated this blog—a stretch of time that has been both challenging and deeply restorative. This intentional pause from writing gave me the time and energetic capacity to invest in several major life transitions: becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, building a functional yurt home with my hands, and cultivating a new sanctuary for my practice. It was also a year of showing up for myself and for the people I love through difficult seasons. It has truly been one of the most demanding and profoundly meaningful years of my life—efforts which have seeded new blossoms on multiple horizons.

The Magic of Next Door

I am overjoyed to officially announce that Mohala Healing & Wellness has found its new physical home in Seattle’s Ravenna neighborhood—the place where I was born and raised. This space is more than just a room for clinical healing work, it is a sacred sanctuary I feel blessed to share with my clients.

Situated right next door to my healing space is an art studio run by my dear friend Jacquie, the visionary heart behind Singing Tree Art Studio. Jacquie offers a variety of art classes and hosts beautiful gatherings centered around community, joy, authentic expression, and unconditional love.

After I finished massage school in the fall, finding this shared space came together in direct response to our simultaneous prayers—for me to discover a grounded, supportive home for my healing arts, and for her to find the right soul to fill the neighboring space. Walking through these doors and cultivating community together genuinely feels like a cosmic blessing.

We believe deeply in the power of coming together to support and uplift those right next to us. Investing in our own joy, healing, creativity, and connection is a powerful way of meeting the unsteadiness and isolation spread so rampantly throughout our world right now. It is a direct call to channel our collective time, life energy, and hearts into what is right in front of us—into our local neighborhoods, our families, and our personal healing. In a modern climate facing pervasive fear, we choose to meet it with softness, shared laughter, deep rest, and community support. We should never underestimate the quiet, radical power of living in a way that remains true to your heart.

An Integrated Approach to Healing

With the physical heavy-lifting of my yurt construction now behind me, and inspired by the magic of this new space, I am now stepping fully into my capacity as a full-time practitioner.

Supporting others on their healing paths is a calling I feel deeply honored to embody. When I first set out on my path to vocationally pursue the healing arts, I knew from my own experience that real healing involves evolution on multiple levels–in the body, mind, and heart. Pursuing an education to this end, I have studied health, physiology, and spirituality through many lenses: yoga, somatic and subtle energy work, clinical bodywork, and the ancient Indian medicine system of Ayurveda.

Through all of them, one core truth becomes clearer every day: how directly our physical bodies speak for the energy of our spirit, and how intertwined our suffering & healing are with our personal development as humans.

Whether we connect on the massage table, through Reiki, wellness counseling, yoga, or special workshops, it is this holistic way of understanding health that I love bringing to my clients. It is what has helped me most in my own healing journey, and I keep learning it anew every day—from those I work with, from my teachers, and from the pervasive intelligence of nature all around and within us.
